The iconic front in the style of the BMW luxury class inspires with its “Iconic Glow” illuminated kidney grille and thin daytime running lights typical of M. The distinctive grille with the BMW XM logo and exclusive Night Gold accents exudes luxury and exclusivity. The powerful sculpted bonnet merges smoothly into two power domes. 

The side view combines the strong character of the design in coupé style with powerful proportions and styling highlights such as the darkest windows of the entire BMW model range. Both the 23” light alloy wheels and the accent band that make the shaping of the BMW XM unique create an especially exclusive effect in the accent colour Night Gold.

The vertical, hexagonal M twin tailpipes give the rear with gold-coloured diffuser accents and the XM logo a unique presence. The two BMW logos lasered on either side of the rear window make reference to the last “M only” model – the BMW M1. Together with the wheel arches, the surrounding rear lights emphasise the robust, broad stance.

The indirectly illuminated headliner impresses with a three-dimensional prism structure. Distinctive Ambient light provides a splendid presentation of the various lighting designs such as the welcome scenario. The colour selection can be adapted to individual needs to match driving mode and atmosphere.

The M Lounge offers a unique sensation of spaciousness. The one-piece seating area and details such as the diamond-shaped structures in the headrests and stitching pattern convey comfort and luxury. Together with the sculptural, indirectly illuminated headliner, dark windows and comfort cushions, they create a novel feeling of space.

The leather with vintage character fascinates with its natural structure and texture setting elegant accents in the door trims and instrument panel. This material is being put to use for the very first time exclusively in the BMW XM and the special processing and refinement methods provide unique and individual styling in every vehicle.

The V8-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine stands for pure driving pleasure, superior power delivery and the distinctive M sound. The system power reaches 480 kW (653 hp) and a torque of 800 Nm, all thanks to the virtuoso interaction of the high-performance 4.4-litre V8 and the 145 kW (197 hp) electrical machine – a combination that thrusts the BMW XM forward unbridled.

The adaptive M suspension Professional impresses with sporty handling without compromising on comfort. The Integral Active Steering stabilises the vehicle at higher speeds and simultaneously reduces the turning radius. Active stabilisers reduce side-to-side body movements, improving driving dynamics and comfort.

The M Sport differential delivers the best possible performance for your vehicle on the road. It variably distributes the driving power between the rear wheels thus improving traction and driving stability in various situations – be it when accelerating out of bends, at high cornering speeds or with differing road conditions.

The V8-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine with a superior system power of 550 kW (748 hp) and 1000 Nm of torque once again brings increased dynamics onto the road. The high-performance 4.4-litre V8 in virtuoso interaction with the 145 kW (197 hp) electrical machine generates an inspiring forward thrust and that distinctive engine sound typical of M.

On the exterior, exclusive wheel styling, the model designation bordered in red and the red accent band send out signals for a lifestyle focused on performance. Exclusive Merino leather upholstery in black and red, red accents and comfort cushions in black ‘Merino' leather with red stitching transport this aspiration through to the interior.

With 350 kW (475 hp) of system power and 700 Nm of torque, the plug-in hybrid drive of the BMW XM 50e displays the power it contains from the very first metre. The precise interaction of the 145 kW (197 hp) electrical machine and the powerful inline 6-cylinder petrol engine means a strong and impulsive power delivery.

Special struts in the front body of the new BMW XM 50e optimise the stiffness of the vehicle. The result is enhanced steering precision and directional accuracy even during challenging driving manoeuvres.

Details in black high gloss and a black accent band create striking contrasts to the self-assured paint finish in Sao Paulo Yellow. An M logo with silver edging and 23” M light alloy wheels round off the expressive appearance of the new BMW XM 50e.

Switch between the purely electric drive and the hybrid mode at the touch of a button with the interaction between electric motor and powerful petrol engine. At the same time, intelligent driving modes optimise the driving experience.

On request, the electric BMW eDrive system powers the BMW XM automobiles purely electrically for example in urban areas. This means you travel almost silently and free of local emissions.

The BMW Advanced Car Eye 3.0 Pro consists of high-quality QHD and full HD cameras that monitor what is happening in front of and behind the vehicle even when it is parked. If the system senses vibrations and unusual movement outside the vehicle, it automatically stores the event to document possible accidents or (attempted) break-ins.

The BMW rear bicycle rack Pro 2.0 is lightweight yet sturdy and can carry up to 60 kg. Outstandingly easy to handle, it can transport two bicycles or e-bikes (can be extended to accommodate three bicycles). Its tilt function allows easy access to the luggage compartment at any time.

Secure hold for tablets with BMW safety case (protective sleeve). The holder, which can be adjusted to different positions and angles, is attached to the “Travel & Comfort” optional equipment or to the basic carrier.
